To create and test the asp pages, you need a web server installed in your computer. If you are using Windows XP Professional then you can install Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) in your computer. I will show you how to install IIS in Windows XP Professional in this tutorial.

1. Go to Add/Remove Programs application in Control Panel: Start > Control Panel > double-click Add/Remove Programs.

2. Click Add/Remove Windows Components from the menu located on the left column.

3. When the Windows Components Wizard appears in a pop-up, select Internet Information Services (IS) and click Next. And follow the instructions.
